According to Ayurvedic philosophy, the entire cosmos is an interplay of the five elements -Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. Ayurveda groups the five elements into three basic types of energy or functional principles that are present in everybody and everything. The combination of these energies gives rise to your in-born constitution, which in Sanskrit is called the Dosa.
You can get to know your Dosa by taking a simple quiz checking what applies to you in regards to your mental, emotional, physical and behavioral being.
Getting to know your Dosa helps you to learn about YOU and understand better the way your mind-body works. Using this knowledge you can start to make better choices in regards to food, activities, exercise, and much more to balance out your in-born constitution whenever your energy goes out of whack.

Ayurveda sees the practice of Hatha Yoga as a therapy to harmonize your physical, mental and emotional being. We will apply it to better understand what type of Hatha Yoga practices suit you better to keep your Dosa in balance.
