Ingredients:
1 lb (16 oz) ground turkey (7% fat)
1 lb (16 oz) ground turkey (99% fat free)
½ C whole wheat bread crumbs
1 large egg
1 large egg white
1/3 C sun-dried tomatoes (diced)
3 tsp ground pepper
2 tbsp garlic, minced
3 tbsp fresh chives, diced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, diced
½ tbsp. fresh basil, diced
2 tsp lemon zest
Directions
- Add all ingredients into large mixing bowl and knead together until evenly distributed. Place bowl in refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight (chilling the mixture makes it easier to divide and make patties).
- Preheat grill to 450
- Pull bowl out of refrigerator and divide mixture into 8 patties
- Spray grill with cooking spray to prevent patties from sticking. Place patties on the grill and cook 3-4 minutes per side for medium (or to internal temperature reading 160). The thinner the patty, the shorter the cooking time
- Remove from grill and enjoy
