Dear Members,
We are so happy to have welcomed many of you back to PRO Club for personal training, group fitness classes, swimming, camps and more. And now, with the new announcements by the State, we are thrilled to offer more opportunities for fitness. However, Governor Inslee has put a pause on racquetball and squash resulting in the closure of those services.
Beginning, August 10th, you may now enjoy independent workouts in our fitness centers with a few guidelines:
Reservations: Due to capacity limitations, a reservation is required to use PRO Club fitness centers, which will be available on Monday, August 10th on proclub.com. We have already been effectively utilizing a reservation system for group classes, tennis, and lap swimming. Dues must be activated to use the fitness centers.
Please note: The various StudioBookings reservations websites that we have implemented for group fitness, aquatics, camps, pickleball/badminton and fitness use a separate set of credentials that are created when you register on each of these sites. Your existing PROClub.com logon credentials will not work on these reservation websites.
Capacity Requirements: The new guidelines require 300 square feet per person in fitness centers. Based on our summer occupancy history prior to our closure, this should allow for most of our members to be able to access the club at their desired time. We will monitor the capacity limits through the reservation system and by our fitness specialists. Club hours may be expanded based on member usage.
Face Masks: Face masks are required at all times, unless engaged in physical exercise or while playing sports. Masks may be removed to exercise but must be worn immediately before and after exercise including while moving to another piece of equipment or fitness space.
Health Screening: All members and employees are health screened and temperature checked every time they enter the club.
Dues Activation: If you have not already re-activated your dues and would like to begin using the club for independent workouts, please e-mail membership at membership@proclub.com to re-activate your dues.
Locker Rooms: Current government guidelines only allow locker rooms to be open for restrooms and sinks except for showers for those utilizing our Aquatic Center.
RACQUET SPORTS
While Governor Inslee’s recent adjustments allow for more fitness spaces to open, unfortunately he has also instituted a pause on racquetball and squash courts. These courts will be closed for adult play.
CLEANLINESS – PRO CLUB CLEAN
As you know, PRO Club sets the standards of cleanliness with state-of-the-art technologies and industry leading cleaning methods, which have been the hallmark of PRO Club since its early beginnings. Over the past few years, we have invested $1 million dollars in cleaning technologies, which include:
Air Purification:
The AirPHX® patented air purification system continuously destroys viruses, and bacteria in the air and on the surfaces. These have been added to augment other member precautions, such as spraying and wiping machines before and after use.
Facility Team:
Our team of nearly 80 individuals continually monitors and maintains the facility cleanliness 24/7.
Robotic Sanitation:
Our UV sterilizing robots are used nightly to ensure our fitness spaces, studios and childcare are deep cleaned frequently.
UPCOMING – MORE TO LOOK FORWARD TO FROM PRO
As we navigate the ever-changing dynamic during this time, we are creatively looking for additional ways to meet the needs our members from more ways to use our expansive spaces (including outdoor) to childcare, remote learning assistance and mini-activity camps for kids. Plus, more virtual group fitness classes and programs. We will keep you updated as these new programs develop.
We are pleased to be your escape for a much-needed workout and are honored that PRO Club has become a safe space for many our members and families. THANK YOU for being a loyal member, and for standing by us during this difficult time and into the future. We look forward to seeing you back at PRO. Please e-mail membership at membership@proclub.com to re-activate your membership dues. If you have any further club questions, please e-mail procomments@proclub.com.
In Good Health,
Dick Knight, President
