Have you been thinking about trying a Pilates Reformer class? Have you wondered about how the equipment works? Well here are 3 reasons why now is the time to give it a shot!
It Is Safe:
I know this is a big concern for most people these days, and rightly so! First, I want to assure you that PRO Club has done an excellent job of following all safety guidelines set forth by our governor. The equipment is spaced to 6 feet apart or more and is cleaned regularly. Participants must wear masks entering and exiting the studio. Once you are at your station and ready to begin class you can choose if you would like to continue wearing your mask. Also, doors can be propped open for extra air flow into the studio. Everyone must have their temperature taken before entering the club. I feel very safe coming to work each day because I know PRO Club is consistently doing all the right things and staying current with new and or updated state safety mandates.
All Levels Welcome:
If you are new to Pilates, it is important to us that you feel comfortable using the Pilates equipment. Before you can join a class, we require at least 1 private lesson…it is called a “Perfect Start Session.” We also highly recommend the “Perfect Start Package” which is 6 more private lessons. This will really give you a chance to learn exercises on the Reformer and how to set up your equipment while in class. These introductory offers are given at a deeply discounted rate, and well worth it. Contact the front desk today to get scheduled for that initial session. If you have done Pilates in the past, but are a little rusty, the Reformer is the perfect way to get back into your fitness routine. As you may remember, this equipment can provide support as well as a challenge for you during exercises. It also helps promote good form and posture, strength, and flexibility. If you are a Pilates pro and are looking to add another session to your routine each week, this could be your answer. We have classes throughout the week with morning , afternoon, and evening classes available. Check out our schedule on proclub.com.
It Is Fun:
Ok, I might be biased, but I think Pilates is so much fun! I feel like I did as a kid in my gymnastics classes. I know this is silly, but I could not wait to show my friends and family some of the exercises I could do again. I also noticed an increased enjoyment in my outdoor activities like snow and water skiing. Now, I do not expect everyone to have the same experiences I did, but you must admit, it is fun when you get better and master an exercise, reach a fitness goal, or achieve better satisfaction from other life activities. You might even make a new friend along the way. Most of the students in my classes have become friends and cheer each other on in and out of the studio. It is amazing how Pilates can spill over into the other aspects of your life.
So, what are you waiting for? Now is the perfect time to start! Do it while the class sizes are small and the parking is easy. We look forward to welcoming you back to the club and into the Pilates studio.
