At PRO Club, the safety and wellbeing of our members and staff is our number one concern. While we remain open as usual, our promise to you is that we are doing everything in our power to keep everyone safe and healthy. We thank you for visiting the club and supporting our efforts to maintain a safe community.
As with all businesses, we are closely monitoring the status of COVID-19, statements from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and following the recommended guidelines. In addition, our PRO Club Safety Director is personally attending the CDC meetings in Olympia to receive the most accurate information and keep our team educated and informed.
Below is a summary of the most common questions we’ve been receiving from our members;
OPEN/CLOSURES
At this time, we are operating our business with normal operating hours and all group fitness classes and club services are available without any schedule changes. PRO Club sets the standard of clean with above average deep cleaning methods and state-of-the-art sterilization technologies that have been in place for over a decade.
GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
Our instructors are sanitizing all equipment before and after each class and may ask class participants to also assist. Clean towels are replaced after each class. As class size has reduced, social distancing is being encouraged. The UV Sterilizing Robot is used nightly to sterilize each studio.
CHILD CARE
We recognize that not everyone has the ability to stay home with their children and therefore we are offering extended childcare options for members and our employees. The health department has encouraged childcare to stay open. These options are available daily and weekly with limited capacity. Please contact the Front Desk, (425) 885-5566 for more information. We will not accept any children who display any symptoms of illness.
POOL SAFETY
According to the CDC, there is no evidence that COVID-19 may be spread through the use of pools and hot tubs. We properly maintain and disinfect our pools regularly to ensure they are clean and safe for use. Our state-of-the-art triple filtration system in our aquatic center augments the required chemicals which kills bacteria and viruses. In addition, we have an on-site water engineer who continually tests and monitors the water safety throughout the day.
TOUCHLESS WATER FAUCETS
We are in the process of installing touchless water faucets in all of our facilities. We expect this to be complete by the end of next week.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Our personal trainers are available for workout sessions outdoors, at-home, virtually or through guidance by e-mail. For sessions inside the club, social distancing and sterilization methods for equipment use is in practice. Due to the decline in appointments, our personal trainers are assisting with additional deep cleaning efforts so that we may ensure that they are earning regular compensation.
DIETITIAN/COUNSELING SESSIONS
All dietitian and counseling sessions are available in-person or through Telehealth.
EVENTS
In accordance with the CDC guidelines, we will be cancelling Shamrockin’ Family Fun night scheduled for Saturday, March 14th. However, we will have family activities available for those who choose to visit the club. Some smaller events may be cancelled due to low attendance and registered attendees will be notified with any updates. For any additional event updates, please follow our Facebook page.
MEMBER HYGIENE
Please be extra sensitive to others and practice good hygiene while experiencing the club. This includes;
- Hand Washing for 20 seconds.
- Protecting our providers by washing your hands and/or showering before spa appointments.
- Using hand sanitizers located abundantly throughout the club.
- Blowing your nose in a tissue and not in towels, pools, hot tubs, sinks or showers.
- Staying home if you are sick, have had exposure to anyone with COVID-19, or have traveled within the last two weeks to China, Japan, South Korea or Italy.
- Spraying equipment before and after use.
- Stay healthy by working out, eating well, staying hydrated and getting plenty of sleep.
