In addition to the nutrient injections we offer at our shot bar, the PRO Sports Club Naturopathic department also offers intermuscular injections for pain and inflammation management. Addressing pain has far-reaching effects not just for discomfort but also for our overall health.

Trigger point injections:

Trigger points are nodules in our muscles and connecting fascia (tissue surrounding our muscles) that are considered “pain generators.” It is hyperirritable taught region of the muscle that creates a tender knot which results in muscle shortening and decreased range of motion. Trigger points may also cause referred pain at a distant location. These nodules cause decreased circulation, increased lactic acid and congestion preventing the optimal flow of blood and lymph.

Trigger point injections are designed to break the pain cycle, reset pain receptors, relieve muscle spasm, decrease inflammation and increase circulation. It is performed by injecting into the muscle using a needle and a designed formula to achieve results.

  •         Chronic pain and inflammation
  •         Decreased range of motion
  •         Disc compression relief

Therapeutic Subcutaneous injections designed to improve circulation and decrease inflammation which aid in healing. All injections are performed with a thin, short needle with a customized formula designed for the following conditions:
