My Best 10: Mary’s Story

It wasn’t until halfway through the My Best 10 program when I realized that I’m much more effective, and available for my family, when I take care of myself.

Before the program, I was in a bit of a slump. My friend, and workout partner, had moved away and my motivation to exercise just wasn’t the same. I wasn’t doing any weight training and my body felt “soft.” When I’d get up in the morning and look in the mirror, I didn’t recognize who was looking back at me.

I was familiar with the 20/20 LifeStyles program which my husband had completed several years ago and, as a result, lost a significant amount of weight. However, that program didn’t seem quite right for me. I just wanted to lose 15 lbs. When I read about the My Best 10 program, I knew it was exactly what I needed.

The program was absolutely amazing! I expected to work hard and I expected to lose weight. What I didn’t expect was to feel so pampered along the way. The club became my home-away-from-home and I looked forward to being there. The massages, facials, and Medical Spa services were also a welcome reward for working so hard all week.

Personal training was the key to my success. My trainer, Tiffany, was such a wonderful addition to my day. She made me want to work hard and always had something positive to say about my progress. Most importantly, she made me feel good about myself again. I’m happier, healthier, and more comfortable in my own skin because of Tiffany and My Best 10.

A major improvement in my life has been my energy level. Before the program, it was difficult to get going in the mornings. I felt tired, even after getting eight hours of sleep. Now, I get up easily and sometimes even get a workout before the kids go to school. It’s incredible how much better I feel now compared to six months ago!

Keeping a food journal was also very empowering for me. It’s amazing how much extra food we can put in our mouths without thinking about it. The journal helped me plan out a day of healthy choices and stick to it. And I was able to track it all using the 20/20 LifeStyles Health Tracker on my phone.

I’m a huge fan of MB10! This is the greatest gift I’ve ever given myself!
